Victorian Multicultural Gala Dinner

The Victorian Multicultural Gala Dinner is an important event, showcasing and celebrating the vibrancy of our multicultural and multifaith communities. The Gala Dinner was held on Saturday 24 August 2024 in the City of Greater Geelong, marking the first Gala Dinner hosted in regional Victoria.

Geelong's thriving multicultural population perfectly embodies the rich tapestry of cultures that make Victoria strong. Held at The Pier Geelong, a venue overlooking Port Phillip Bay, the event was a celebration of our state's diverse communities, their traditions, and their histories.

Traditionally, the Victorian Multicultural Gala Dinner has been open to the public. However, to acknowledge the regional location and respect for other ongoing events within our multicultural and multifaith communities, the 2024 Gala Dinner was a smaller invite only event. The Gala Dinner featured cultural and artistic performances, fine food, speeches and networking opportunities.
